Introduction

Founded in 1982, Videira has become a leading manufacturer of high quality, customized stainless steel hot tanks for heat pumps, solar and storage. Videira’s production is reaching 100.000 units per annum. It sells across Europe and North America to leading OEM customers, including in UK, Netherlands, France, Spain, Poland, Australia, UAE, Canada and United States. Located near Porto (Portugal), Videira has continuously invested in R&D, new machinery, quality controls, technology-enabled processes, modern facilities and well-trained staff.

Tanks for heat pumps

Videira has become a specialist in designing and manufacturing fully customized, high efficiency tanks for heat pumps. The company produces more than 10.000 of such units per year to OEM customers in Europe. Videira continues to invest in R&D and production to deliver to customers the most advanced tank solutions for their heat pumps.

Videira has modern production facilities including a laboratory for testing and R&D. Videira is certified to ISO 9001, which allows manufacturing processes to comply with the highest quality and safety standards. Our track record in in-house engineering, internal testing and external certification processes is what gives our customers full confidence in partnering longterm with Videira.

Products

The stainless steel tanks of Videira are widely recognized for their reliability, outstanding design and energy efficiency. Videira is specialized in custom-made tanks and capable to meet any customer demand. The tank shell are made from high grade AISI 444 – 2B finish. The coil and adapters are made from high grade as well: 1.4404 – 316 stainless steel. This avoids pitting corrosion. All welds are made by high quality welding process TIG (GTAW), minimizing the possibility of crevice corrosion. The tanks are then pickled and passivated both inside and outside. Quality control systems ensure all tanks that leave the factory are of highest quality.
